What is Meditation?


Meditation is simply awareness of yourself in the present moment, it suspends your ego, helping you to notice where your mind and energy goes.

It’s an important gift to give yourself since it goes beyond relaxation of the body to touch the core awareness of who you are, creating a healthy and healing balance in your life.

From the moment we are born, we are taught and conditioned by those around us to believe and behave in certain ways and over time this can lead to us losing connection with who and what we are.  

Meditation does not change your life’s story, but it does change the way in which you look and view your life, giving you the clarity to move forward with self-love. And while you can’t stop some thoughts and feelings, you can stop feeding or giving them your full attention - especially where fear and control play a big part.

Meditation will help you to develop your own methods, using your intuition to except the past and create a new path to wellbeing. You will learn to stop inviting habitual thoughts in and to release what is no longer serving your inner-peace – an important investment in yourself and your future.

What is Reiki?


 Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy. It’s a proven technique that promotes healing, relaxation and inner-peace and is used worldwide.

This simple, non-religious method, focuses on treating the whole person and is inclusive to all. It’s a simple and gentle way of enabling your energy to rebalance by promoting general well-being. 

From time to time life gets stressful and our mind, body and spirit, become blocked. Reiki treats the whole body rather than a specific symptom or area, working to bring us into balance and reinforce the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

What Happens in a Reiki-Meditation Session?

  • We will begin with a simple meditation, followed by Reiki.
  • The treatment is designed to meet each client’s unique needs.
  • Sessions are usually for an hour.
  • Clients remain fully clothed throughout the session.
